This year the Lake Shore High School Quarterback Club will be hosting the 9th annual Shorian Taste Fest at Athena Hall on March 4th from 1pm to 5pm.
Tickets are now on presale for $15 per person and can be purchased from either a football player or Matt Coffey, football coach and math teacher. If you chose to forego the presale tickets, they will be selling tickets at the door for $20 per person.
The Shorian Taste Fest will have a vast turnout of approximately 1,500 or more people coming through the doors throughout the day.
There will be a variation of different vendors at the event, for example: Buffalo Wild Wings, Billy Sims Barbecue, pizza places, cake shops. You name it, they will be there.
There will be all kinds of auctions going on during this event. The people can buy squares for different amounts and win a Pistons package, a summer BBQ set, a football package, lottery ticket tree, big screen TVS, and many other prizes. There will be 50/50 drawings and live entertainment as well.
Richard Popp, head varsity football coach and Dean of Students, stated, “This is an incredible community event. It is a coming together of support for a great cause. The event is packed with fun, families, smiles and laughs. Everyone has a great time. The food is magnificent.”
