Lake Shore High School on Display

On Wednesday, March 22nd, Lake Shore High School held an open house. As always, families were able to walk around and talk to staff members. The event is always popular and draws in a large crowd. This wasn’t exclusive to Lake Shore, this was a District-Wide open house event. Filled with displays, each station/table had teachers (and some even included students) that spoke to interested viewers about the classes/clubs of Lake Shore.

Future Shorians got a chance to talk with current staff and students to get their questions answered about our wonderful school and the things it offers. Every program was there, from the English Department, the Art Club, Building Renovations classes, and everything inbetween. Superintendent Dr. Joe DiPonio was there as well. The night gave folks a deeper look at everything Lake Shore has to offer for potential students. It was well coordinated and did not disappoint. There were also plenty of treats like cookies and chocolate-covered pretzels. Along with the treats, the Art Club was also selling hand-painted hats and shoes, as well as pins, magnets, and coffee mugs.
